What is the "Really Big Raffle" all about: For the last five years, the event has included a Raffle that awards over 300 prizes to lucky participants. All entrants are automatically entered and winners are determined by a computer drawing held the Wednesday prior to the event. Winners are then notified by email and prizes can be picked up at early packet pick-up or at the event. Although Raffle Awareness improved in 2017, our Post event Survey told us many people were still were not aware of the raffle. This year we will continue to work on getting out the word of this great event feature.
Due to the large number of prizes and the time required to notify and distribute the prizes, winners will be drawn at random by computer from those participants entered by 5pm, Wednesday, January 31. Winners will be notified via email by 5pm, Thursday, February 1 so watch your inbox (and spam folder) for the good news!
Prizes will be distributed at packet pick-up at Runner's Den on Saturday and at the event on Sunday so when you are notified by email that you are a winner, just plan to pick up your gift either of these times. Prizes will be pre-assigned to each winner so there is no rush to claim them. Also, please note that the prize you win is the prize you win. If you can't use the item you win, make a friend and give it to someone who will enjoy it. If however you win a sized item we stock, we will be happy to exchange it for the proper size.
