Registration for our 2021 Event Opens to the General Public on October 15, 2020
We are currently in discussions with the the event venue, City of Phoenix, sponsors, volunteer groups, our charitable partner and medical consultants to determine how we can responsibly and safely stage our 43rd edition in regards to the current Covid-19 situation. The safety of our participants, volunteers and the public at large are our number one concern. After a several month hiatus, we are starting to see the return of participatory events to fitness calendars around the country. More importantly, we are finding developing safety standards and guidelines available to responsibly stage these events.
Our event will differ from previous versions. The incorporation of socially distanced staged starting lines, mask use, staggered wave starts and the elimination of some of the activities which tend to bunch people will be limited or eliminated. Aid station conduct and food service will also be adjusted. Our goal will be to not just follow current standards but to help set and establish new ones so other events can move safely forward.
Our intention is to open registration to the general public on October 15, 2020. This will occur only if all associated groups are in agreement with these goals and confident that we can responsibly and safely proceed. Further updates will be provided as information becomes available. We appreciate your understanding. Stay tuned!
As we prepare for our 43rd annual Runner's Den Pancake Run, we hope you will join us to enjoy the rich history and competition at one of the oldest and most popular events on the Valley running calendar. IHOP joins us again to serve-up their fantastic pancake breakfast and help us create the best atmosphere possible. Our goal each year is to stage a great event; merging a competitive race with a family-fun atmosphere. With four different activities available and some of the best pancakes on earth, we've tried to include something for everyone. Remember, the event is limited to the first 2,000 participants so enter early if you are planning to join us. It fills fast. For complete event details, click on the "EVENT INFORMATION" tab above
